I'd like to take this opportunity to welcome Hank to the team.
My days as Matt's support worker have come to an end and my days of just being Matt's friend are beginning, wich Im most excited about. I am really glad to hand my role over to Hank. I couldn't have imagined a better person for the job. Thanks Hank this makes my departure so much easier.
I hope this Blog is an inspiration to people. I think this is a great way to share Matts story with his friends, family and community. It is a tool to help people get to know Matt better, connect with him and a lasting diary of his extraordinary life.

Hi Guys and Matt - I'd just like to say that I have been very fortunate to stumble upon a really unique opportunity to work with Matt. It has really been a blessing and I'm looking forward to working with all of you and Matt. I also just like to say thanks Scott for all your help in getting me to know Matt and his schedule. Not to mention the fact that I've been introduced to some really good people and connections through food connect - thanks to you and I've really enjoyed and been inspired in your work with Matt and some of the values that you hold in relating to people and caring for our environment. I still can't cook veges very well but no doubt I'll learn while doing the job. Anyway this is getting a bit long and poor old Matt is waiting for me here at food connect to start loading the van and the other vans have just vacated the warehouse. So it's now our turn.
